Statement of Faith
Throughout Church history, Christians have summarized their beliefs in brief, definitive statements. We think it is necessary to clarify the central truths from Scripture that our church believes. A statement of faith helps summarize and teach essential Christian beliefs, preserve church unity, and guard the church from error.
Church Covenant
While the statement of faith summarizes our beliefs, the church covenant summarizes how church members practice those beliefs. To be a member of a church is not like acquiring a gym membership. Instead, church membership is more like being a member of a family. Throughout the New Testament, church members are commanded to pray for one another, build one another up, live at peace with one another, serve one another, and more. The covenant reframes many of these commands as promises that we make to one another as members of Bangkok City Baptist Church.
